We organised the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus Mundus Master QuanTEEM on friday 9 December 2022 in Dijon. We were very happy to get together with QuanTEEM partners and collaborators, students and professors to celebrate the start of the project.
The meeting started with a morning session devoted to a general presentation of the QuanTEEM project and full partners. This was the first opportunity for the fourteen QuanTEEM students to meet and discuss with our full partners Artur Widera and Parya Memar from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and Jan Joachim Arlt and Mette Glerup Thomsen from Aarhus University.
After two hours of lively discussions during the buffet lunch, we had an afternoon session of presentations of the scientific and pedagogical activities of some of QuanTEEM associated partners and collaborators. The session involved presentations from researchers from both academic labs and companies working in the field of Quantum science and technologies, allowing our students to enjoy presentation on a broad range of topics and to meet prominent members of our community.
