Winter School

Physics and Mathematics of Quantum Control

24-26 November 2025, Dijon, France

Quantum control is a toolbox for designing and implementing the shapes of external fields that perform specific tasks in the operation of a quantum device with high fidelity and robust protocols. It has become one of the key enablers of quantum technologies.

The aim of this school is to bring together experimentalists, theoreticians, and mathematicians to provide a broad overview of the current state-of-the-art in this field and of the potential developments in a near future. Emphasis has been placed on the application of quantum control techniques in quantum technologies.

Basic courses dedicated to master’s to doctoral students will be taught by three experts in the field. Short presentations will illustrate recent results of original research.
